Match dates, such as flowers, chocolates, stuffed animals, diamonds, etc.
Q. It takes two to Tango! How will I benefit if I become a subscriber?
A. Subscribing is your all access pass to our Monster Matching system, and
is our most successful way to meet people. While members can send Winks,
and search for people, subscribers actually get to email and connect with
their matches. So subscribe now to get started on your own happy ending.
Q. You had me at "Hello." How do I subscribe?
A. Very easily. You even have some options. Just click
here and choose from
any of our subscription packages. You can either pay online with a credit/debit
card or online check. Or you can mail us a check or money order to Monster

Q. What is the status of my subscription?
A. You will receive an email when you subscription has been processed.
Q. Monster Match does work, and I found my match! How do I cancel my subscription?
A. Congratulations! That means we’re doing our job. To cancel your subscription,
just visit the Customer
Care section. We of course wish you the best, but if
things don’t work out, you know where to find us.
Q. When can I email other members?
A. You can email other members, when you sign up for a Monster Match subscription.

Q. You can call it shy. I call it mysterious. How do I remain anonymous?
A. We are like VEGAS…What happens at Monster Match stays at Monster Match.
To preserve your privacy, we hide your email address from all members who view
your profile. Once you log in to the site you will have your personal Communicator
that you will be able to view numerous settings including your email address.
This is only viewable by you and you only. When you contact someone via email
the person you contacted will receive a form email that is forwarded from the
Monster Matching system.
Please note: If you reply to an email from another Monster Match member directly
from your email program, make sure you’ve turned off your auto-signatures
and auto-responders. If you don’t, you could unintentionally send your
personal information along with your message. Read through your responses to
make sure your actual email address does not appear. Also, be sure not to copy
(cc:) or forward email to yourself when you send a message from your own email
program.
Q. Where do I receive emails from other members?
A. All emails from other members are sent to the email address you registered
with. A copy is also available for viewing in your Monster Match Mailbox.
Also, due to your email providers automatic blocking and filtering, receiving
your email is not guaranteed, or can be delayed. Not to worry, though. All
of your emails sent and received within the last 30 days can be viewed in your
Monster Match Mailbox.
Q. How do I stop someone from emailing me?
A. You can stop someone from emailing you by clicking on that persons profile
and browse to the Custom Menu section and select Block member.
Q. I just want to search for people. Why should I create a profile?
A. You’re here to meet people and a profile helps you do that. Filling
out a profile will allow us to find members who are right for you, and make
sure you’re right for them. You’ll also be able to start winking
at members who strike your fancy. Not to mention, it’s the only way other
members can find you. Post your profile today.
Q. What is the process for creating a profile?
A. To create your profile, just log in and click on My Profile from the Member
menu at the top of the page. It’s fun, quick, and easy. And remember,
no one likes a boring profile. Have some fun with it. Be creative. You’re
here to meet people, so make them want to meet you. This is also where you
can add a photo to your profile, which gets members up to 15 times more attention.
Finally, whenever you’re finished hyping yourself up, just hit the "Save
changes" button.
So post your pics. Be creative. But keep it clean. Our Customer Care team
reviews every profile (yes, even yours) before they’re viewable on the
site. So it might take anywhere from 24-48 hours before your new profile is
available for viewing. We’ll let you know via email after it’s
been reviewed and approved.
Q. How do I update or edit my profile after it’s
been posted?
A. Edit your profile whenever you want by logging in and clicking on My Profile
at the top of the page. After you’ve finished properly reflecting your
life changes, just hit "Save changes" button, give our Customer
Care team time to review it (within 48 hours), and you’re good to go.
Q. Can I hide my profile so other members can’t
see it?
A. You can take a break by hiding your profile at any time. Just log in and
click on Control Panel, and Suspend under the Member Info section. You can
suspend your account to make it temporarily unavailable for search and contacts.
Later you will always be able to activate it back. But remember…you
never know when that one perfect match might be looking for you!
Q. Looks aren’t everything. Why should I post a
photo to my profile?
A. It is plain and simple, The profiles with photos get 10 times more attention
then those profiles without photos. So don’t be shy… Post
your photo today!
Q. I’m looking great.. How do I add a photo to my profile, and show
everyone what they’re missing?
A. There are two ways to go about adding a photo to your profile. Both are
easy.
Option 1: Upload your photo.
After you’ve posted your profile, you can upload photos directly from
your computer. If your photos are approved (remember, fun but clean), they
will be posted. So it could take up to 72 hours for your photo to appear on
your profile.
Option 2: Email
your photo to us.
We’ll do the work for you, and post your photos for free. That’s
just the kind of loving people we are. It’s easy, here’s how:
Attach your photos to your email.
Include your:
First and Last Name.
Username
Email address you used when you signed up with Monster Match
Then just send your email to photos@monstermatch.net
We’ll let you know via email when we process your photos. Also, please
send your photos as attachments only. We cannot accept a picture embedded in
an email.
Don’t have a digital photo? Don’t worry, send your digital photos
to the following address and we will post it for you.

Q. How do I send a Wink to let a person know I’m
interested?
A. Don’t worry, we’ll help you break out of that shell. Send a
Wink by clicking the smiling wink icon in a member’s profile. They\'ll
instantly know you\'d like to know them better. Remember, your profile has to
be visible to send a Wink. Now start winking.
Q. What is the Monster Match Winks email I received? And why am I blushing?
A. You should be flattered. Every day, we email you a list of members who have
winked at you in the past 24 hours, letting you know that they’re interested
in you. If you want to stroke your ego and look at all the winks you’ve
received, Log and browse to Communicator and view the Winked members. You
can view who you have winked at and the people who have winked at you.
Q. What is the difference between searching and matching?
A. The short answer is this: Searching is done by you, and looks for a member
with certain characteristics, location, age, etc. Matching is done by us,
and matches you with another member based on what you both have told us you’re
looking for. Now for the detailed answer.
When you perform a search, you are specifying what types of members you want
to see. We have many different kinds of searches available, including:
Quick search: The fastest way to see who’s available based on gender,
age, and geographic location.
Advanced search: Narrow your results by specifying what physical characteristics,
lifestyle, background and values you want your match to have.
Matching, on the other hand, also takes into account who you are. When you
post a profile, you provide certain information about yourself as well as about
the kind of person you are looking for. We can use this information to find
those members who meet your criteria for a match, and who also have specified
that they are looking for someone like you. Remember, you must have a profile
in order to use our Matching technology. If you’ve asked to receive Monster
Match by Mail, we’ll send your new matches directly to your email Inbox.
Q. Does Monster Match have same-sex matching?
A. Absolutely. When you create
your profile, there is one field asking if you’re
a man or woman, and another field asking if you’re looking for a man
or woman. Just fill in the appropriate fields, and you’re on your way.
Q. How do I change my username, password or email address?
A. It’s easy to change any of your account information, at any time.
Just login and browse to My Profile. Make the necessary changes and select
Save Changes. You will be informed about the activation success within 24 hours
